I hate thieves. I just stated a fact then I get my butt chewed out for telling the truth.

 :chuckle:
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

That's some BS. It happens too often, although usually there is a whole camera and tree stand to go with it. I have walked past many a unlocked trail cam and I do what any respectful hunter would do...moon it and trek on.

I just love it how you guys complain about a $100 camera to stealing and vandalizing a $15000 SxS or a $55000 truck. You guys really show your colors. There's a huge, huge difference.

So its ok to steal something off your truck that is a couple hundred dollars just not the whole truck.. Got it I will remember that next time I am in the woods and see how people think about that.

If it is not yours then leave it alone.

Your statement doesn't make one lick of sense there buddy boy............ if a truck is left in the woods for a month, I'd expect some thief to steal it or something off of it......if not the entire truck. :bash:
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

But like we have established, expecting it to be gone doesn't make it right.  I don't see items in the woods and  try to establish if they have  been left there.  I know it's not mine and I leave it be.   If my truck broke down I'd be pissed if some low life took advantage and stole or messed it up cause I couldn't get back there in time to not fall under abandoned free to take timeline you keep referring to.  I'm considering hanging my trail cam just to park in the woods.  Hopefully the thieves are ok with their pics taken.

Thieves will always steal no matter what, even with trail cameras and high tech gubmint cameras watching us.......

Stealing is a sin, that is the "true color" I'm talking about.  What true colors are you talking about?
