field evaluation spots open 10/2 in eatonville
« on: September 25, 2014, 07:40:55 PM »
just an FYI that we still have 12 spots available for online hunter education students that need the field evaluation course scheduled for next Thursday 10/2 in Eatonville at the Upper Nisqually Sportsmans Club.  Check WDFW website for online details and sign up information.  Class starts at 1:00 pm and is scheduled to last until 6:00 (we had a class and finished today at 5:00).  We teach a couple classroom sessions each spring and have a couple field evaluation classes each fall so the students that fulfill the online testing requirements can do the field evaluation and receive their hunter ed certificates so they're able to hunt this fall.  Basically if you pass the field evaluation on Thursday you should receive your certificate in the mail the following Wednesday.  If you have any questions let me know or check the WDFW website, click on Hunting and go to the Hunter Education link to find out about the field evaluation courses.  Thank you and good luck this fall.

just an FYI the the class tonite went well....one young man didn't pass the quiz but they are trying to get him into next weeks class with another group to hopefully pass the requirements...talking to the students and wondering where they are from found a couple that came over from Yakima and one guy drove all the way from the tri-cities to take the field evaluation to get their license to hunt this year....that's a commitment.....hopefully branched antlered bucks and bulls are in their futures !  good luck and shoot straight
