Here is some pics from our oversized sturgeon trip in May of 07 for our 5Th anniversary! Boy was it a blast. We tapped mine out at 10 ft and both of my wife's at 9 ea. If you have never gone oversized fishing, its worth it to hire a guide and have some fun! We caught 5 that day.

ya I know him, nice guy... alot of guides, well 99% fish just below the 85 boundary.... its great fishing, but I just hate the number of boats you see on a day up there.. the areas I fish some weekdays you dont see another boat on the water! its great, my guide buddy greg and i went out in his sled on a thursday last may, sunny, 85 degress not a boat on the water, we put 8 to the boat in 4 hours out of one hole, I call the money hole or sportjet hole!! not a single boat but us! now thats awesome!

How deep were you fishing down lower? The first spot we were in like 90 foot and took awhile to get them things in , down lower where we were by our selves it was 30 feet and got those fish up pretty quick. That really beared out my arms fighting that 10 footer  ;)

Excellent and great job!   Those are the target fish for this year 2009, no more hitting the nurseries....   :chuckle:  The big ones are too cool to catch, after the first one I swore off Salmon and won't go and fish any other fish....

Getting all new heavier gear this winter and will be ready for the spring, running with a bud that does well all winter, mostly in the Willamette but he always teaches me more holes and ideals...

And to think I had to talk you into taking your boat down there ;)
