...why don't you let me call it close enough to a road I can block and tackle it out for you? ;) mine was kind enough to walk 40 yards towards that small road to make my 250' rope barely reach. That's the ultimate old man fix :chuckle:

Did some environmentalist leave you a refrigerator up there for moose storage or did it take a Rotomold cooler full of beer to get that thing to the road?

Ha! Well.. It was a cooler full of ice for the organs and meat.. We used the lid as a sled to keep his cape nice, though.  :hello:

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

You left the gut pile in the middle of the road, right? :peep:
:chuckle: no.. There is actually a very humorous time lapse of the whole event that captures me disappearing into his cavity, and also shows me dragging my plastic tarp over the side, then cleaning and folding it.

All photos re-posted since the links failed/changed, as per request. Sorry to refresh this with all the great moose taken this year that deserve attention.

Thanks Hirshey, I know the area never seen or heard of them though.

If you ever get a chance to visit his shop or take him something to work on... it is incredible! He also ends up at a lot of the sportsman's shows on the west side. He has done my deer for multiple seasons, and I recommend him to a lot of my friends. His attention to detail and pride in his work is great, and both Ken and his wife Lisa are just incredibly good people. Makes it an easy decision to drive 2.5 hours to drop off a head and see what treasures are in his shop. :)
