The Local buck is dead
« on: October 17, 2014, 09:53:36 AM »
Congrats to who ever shot the local legend this year, he looks to be around 190-200. There was at least 10 rigs after this buck the last week and someone got him. Cant wait for the pics to surface on here.

Dont know the story or anything just got the word and the pic. I know he was hunted hard and he must have messed up cause is is dead now. Maybe the lucky hunter will be on here someday or not. He lived with in 1 mile of wenatchee, I could see his home (canyon) from my house.

How come you didn't hunt him?

Interesting that you got a pic and confirmed it as "the one" in that other thread, yet the buck on the other thread is from Idaho in 2011.

A big buck that close to Wenatchee probably lived most of it's life on private land.....I hope the mistake he made was leaving that land and not being shot illegally on it.  there is a lot of land just outside of Wenatchee that is Trust land that is no hunting.....though I have seen many hunters on it.

Would like to see the picture though.
