Should see the whitetail numbers starting to spike.  They are really getting active

I killed a blacktail in Washington. Heading to Idaho Friday to chase whitetails.

Bagged a  big black tail spike, almost a 2 point... on the 2nd day of modern, and a black tail big doe with a 2nd deer tag on Saturday of the late season. Great to share a hunt experience with my best friend's son with the spike, and initiate another buddy in to the gutting and butchering process with the doe.

Another blacktail unicorn for me.  Actually thought it was a doe. In an any deer area. Little spike that must have rubbed a tree a little too had and lost one of em.  Eats great though!

5x5 Whitetail Buck. Watched him and a 5x6 on my game cam starting early Oct.  Hunted those two bucks exclusively.  Passed on anything else I saw.  Finally shot the 4x4 on 18 Nov.  He was hot in pursuit of a doe.  Worked out just right as I am able to hunt every day and only had to sit out the 19th!!

5x6 whitetail
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

Daughter shot a whitetail doe during general rifle, we both shot whitetail does with our second deer tags and I just shot a mule deer buck during late archery.  Great season for us with tons of good eating whitetail in the freezer.  The mule deer is going to have to be mostly hamburger, jerky and peperoni, butchering that one tonight.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
