Blue Tongue
« on: October 28, 2014, 07:14:15 AM »
Has anybody seen any evidence of Blue Tongue in Eastern Washington? I found at least 8-10 dead deer on my property. They all looked relatively healthy, aside from being dead of course, and most of them were fairly fresh.

My dad just texted me yesterday that it may be around the area of his farm which borders the Palouse river. No good.

Rumors are that it's making an appearance down here along the river.

One of the dead deer I saw was floating in the river. Hopefully we get a good hard frost, I believe that will kill the gnats that spread the disease
