I would hope my son was with me and on three... boom, boom....   :chuckle:  I might have to just flip a coin if I was by myself.

I've never tasted whitey so I'd take him.

While the whitetail is a better representative of the species. I have a handful of 150" whitetail already and no Mule deer over a few smaller buck so the mule deer gets the lead for me. That said, I would probably second guess myself if the situation actually came along. Both great deer!

I think a guy would stand a better chance of finding another mule buck as good as that if he passed and took the whitetail......may never get a chance at another whitetail like that, and he is most likely peaked.

I just killed a good whitetail last year. I have looked for a nice 4pt mule deer for a long time, but keep finding 3pts. I'd take the muley.

Whitetail for me, I have a few muleys on the wall, the whitetail would break things up a bit.  Not to mention they are way better table fare. :EAT:

I'm gonna go against the grain on this one and say the muley, look at that symmetry! That whitetail is amazing though. Awesome picture!
If you don't do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do.

You know....we need our own Hunt-Wa lottery. Each year any forum member that wants to participate puts $50 in the pot. Mid summer rolls around and one name is drawn. The winner...say myself...then gets to follow Bone around for a week to see if they can find an elk/whitetail/muley/bear......and then kill it. The total pot goes to forum servers/charity whatever.

  Say What?!?!?

But... I DO like that Idea and I, for one, would send in my $50!
