My favorite deer
« on: November 04, 2014, 08:47:34 AM »
For whatever reason.....One of my favorite bucks is a true 5x5 muley (nothing to do with eyeguards.)  One of my favorite threads on here is that old 5 point thread.    Hopefully I will see some good 5 points this fall.  Here is one from last week.  Do you guys have anything particular that is your favorite attribute or characteristic....

Cool pic.

My favorite attribute is symmetry.  (Or was the question in reference to your favorite thread?  If so ... bigfoot hands down.  LOL)

I'm with rover.....I love symmetry.

On the flip side....the ugly nasty goofy junky racks are cool in their own right.

I like muleys that have polished white antler tips that turn upward with dark main beams and bases.

No Rover, you have the idea.  You'd love the buck I got this year.  I have never seen such symmetry with the tape.

I just added this pic to the 5 point thread, so sorry for the double post, but you can see his forks a bit better with this one.

Hey Bone not to jack the thread, but what camera do you use to get such awesome pictures? I assume digital SLR but how big of a lens? Thanks....and I really like one of a kind racks symmetry is great but ones that have a lot of character dark bases with white tips and unique bases as well.

Not sure what it is, but a big clean 4 X 4 whitetail turns my crank.  Not the basket - racked 120'ers, i'm talking 150"+ WT's.  As always great picture, masher muley for sure.

Right now my favorite is what I don't have, something with some trash, kickers, stickers or a droptine.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
