How has the hunting been in that unit? The couple time I went this late season and I have seen a lot of deer!

got lots of does on cams not many bucks yet. It was 5 out when I left the house don't think that you can dress warm enough to sit in a stand, but have seen a lot of guys road hunting.

Any luck, me and hunting partner got a wild hair up our ... and decited we are gonna go up there this weekend friday sleep in the truck and hunt till we cant move any more saturday. Nether of us have hunted this area before and while my gradfather grew up in the area that was in the 20s. We are just lookin to fill the freezer with a couple does but after spending the last couple days at work reading it sounds like the rut is in full swing. with our goals in mind should we go doe mind set only or is ther a good chance to get some horns aswell? and where is a good area for freezer fillers? thanks for any info!!!

Been up there hunting..rut is going. Hope you have stands if your trying to arrow a deer. Pretty tough to do on the ground unless you have blinds. Lots of bucks on cams between all of us, 3-1 to 5-1 buck to doe ratios where we are all set up. always been a lack of does where we are versus bucks
