Palouse 5X5
« on: November 17, 2014, 10:13:38 AM »
Finally got it done. This was honestly one of my most enjoyable deer seasons ever. I saw tons of deer passed many dinker bucks and probably a couple I shouldn't I also missed an absolute giant which almost made me cry like a baby. LOL. Between the crazy heat of the early season then the arctic winds that hit on the second day of the late season it was a season I wont soon forget. Anyways long story long this guy was chasing a doe and ended coming out of a draw right where I was sitting and stopped when I whistled at about 100 yards or so. He went about 15 yards and was done. The crazy thing about this deer that I didn't know until I shot him is that he is the clone of my last two deer. I also added there pics so you can see the resemblance. Hope you all had a great year whether you tagged out or not. Mine was stellar.

Mine too was a clone to a buck i shot a few years ago! Almost identical. Genetics really tend to stay in the same areas
