Pretty sure there is no hunting in any parks.

It is certainly not legal to hunt in any National Park. Know your boundaries!

You can only hunt in a select few national parks.  It is for herd reductions, usually elk.  Have to look up each park's policy.

:yeah:

There are a few "National Parks" that are open for hunting under a permit system for herd reduction. But generally speaking the answer is no.

Now there is National Park Service land that is open to "general" hunting. WA has the most units of NPS land that is open to hunting in the lower 48. Those are Lake Roosevelt, Lake Chelan, and Ross Lake National Recreation Areas

I was thinking of calling in river front park in Spokane. Figured I could get up in the radio flyer wagon and do a set. Not sure what breed of dog I would get in, but I'm sure there's dogs there! :dunno: :dunno:

Correct, decisions like hunting and other use are dictated by the Park manager of each individual park.

Of your not 110% sure, your better off to stay out until you do the research on the ground your thinking of. After you do find out if its hunt able, be sure to check firearm restrictions.
There's a lot of public and private ground out there so I try to avoid the headache and the chance of crossing  into the wrong area.

There is a big difference between national parks and national recreation areas.  Some National Parks lie within National Recreation areas.  You may not hunt within Park boundries (generally) but you can hunt the surrounding rereation area.  Be aware that there are regulations regarding hunting rec areas, make sure ya bone up on those rules before you hunt there.  The gov does a pretty good job of hiding these rules, as a vast majority rec area managers would just rather you not hunt there.
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.
