1 Opportunity Late WA Archery Muley Hunt - Video
« on: January 02, 2015, 06:57:40 PM »
I set my standards this season at a 4 year old minimum. Out of 5 days of hunting the late archery season, I had one shot opportunity to be a hero. The video below shows what became of it.

High Quality Video Here: http://solvidsystems.com/videos/hunting/clean-miss-archery-mule-deer-hunt/

What do you think is up with that leg? Right after the shot, on the second zoom in, it looks really skinny and you can see the bone clear up to the joint. Strange to say the least.

Was chasing one other buck that I would guess at least 4 years old, but not as nice. Other than that, I saw a ton of the luckiest 2 points rut bucks in the world... with all the does they could handle.

Interesting.  Looks like he might have further injured his leg in the moments after you shot bounding away.

I think you shot right in front of his brisket ,also it is obvious he was limping coming up to hill on the video ......
Great video though ......

Tough to guess yardage in very open terrain like that, I once made a head shot on a bedded elk in Idaho in open country.  I thought it was 40 to 50 yards and ended up being 140! (rifle)  Good video, thanks.  I also agree that deer was injured long before he met you.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
