cant wait to hear more about this one, so hear is my idea, your camera is somewhere around lake Chelan, and the second guy is protecting his pot growing grounds....( I know its winter but that's my wag)

Chelan County private property, clearly marked completely around the property, no permission given.

The first guy has a resemblance to a guy that was in some pictures from Idaho.  The guy in the Idaho photos was on trail cam destroying wolf snares.  Read that he is a predator advocate for wolves and bears and goes looking for wolf poachers, but is from WA out by Twisp.  Don't know if it is the guy though.

Now that the op has chimed in with more info,My point is well proven. Both breaking the law.Picture 1 clean cut short hair, well dressed. While the 2nd is what some have considered out of the norm. Both breaking the law.As for the guy walking in the city with rifle slung, no I dont think it should warrant any LEO interferance of his or her second unless a crime has or can be shown will soon happen for some reason.  :twocents:

:bash: I've noticed far more problems with trespassing this time of year than anytime during hunting season.

Guy #1 is probably shed hunting, Guy #2 is probably practicing for his next LARP (Live Action Role Play) event.  Some people take it more seriously than others and he is obviously trying to get in character.  ;)

Anyone roaming around with a sword is probably up to no good. If the first guy had the sword and was dressed like he is, I still think something was not right and be concerned.  :twocents:

I agree. It could have been the cleanest cut white guy but the combo of that camo and a sword would make me cautious. Would you, Steve, wear that out somewhere and expect someone who walks by you to just smile, wave and chat you up? I sure as heck wouldn't

has the picture been inverted? the American flag on the 1st guys pack is "wrong"
That is the issued IR flag. The US Army uses it even though it is theoretically "Wrong" The excuse is that when worn on the right shoulder it symbolizes advancing toward the fight, not retreating
