Even had a friend approached and fallowed back to her truck hunting the cpwma hunt for elk. She thought it was a coyote but it followed her from 25-40 yards and she said it was waist high. Next day we checked the tracks. That track is pretty small for a wolf. I'd guess coyote.a bic lighter is 3 1/4" long I'd guess the track to be 4" or just under. Not a coyote!
