I know several people who have seen wolves on or near Turnbull.  :twocents:
same here.  Even had a friend approached and fallowed back to her truck hunting the cpwma hunt for elk.  She thought it was a coyote but it followed her from 25-40 yards and she said it was waist high. Next day we checked the tracks.

That track is pretty small for a wolf. I'd guess coyote.
a bic lighter is 3 1/4" long   I'd guess the track to be 4" or just under. Not a coyote!

It has to be a coyotes until it is caught killing livestock a few times, then it might turn into a cougar or? Anything except a wolf.

Not a coyote track. Doesn't even resemble a coyote track.

What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

:yeah: :IBCOOL:  That is the joke around Colville, wolves have to kill livestock before WDFW can find them!  :chuckle:
