What is your definition of a QUALITY GSP? What are you planning to do with this quality dog? Trials? Hunt? family dog with minimal health issues? A little more info may get you better results. I believe Happy Gilmore knows a few guys that have some good GSPs (national rated type dogs) but that may not be what you are looking for. Good luck, some great dogs out there so great pups should not be too hard to find.

What I mean by quality is not some back yard breeder who breeds tons of litters per year, I know of a few lab breeders around that are like that and not interested in that at all....

So yes looking for....

1. Health
2. Hunting
3. Temperament
4. Companion

I can make a quality hunting dog a quality trials dog and vice versa....

Are you looking only in WA or is out of state an option? Are you looking for a trial breeding or something more versatile from something like a dog running in NAVHDA events?

When I was looking at a gsp before I decided on a lab I really liked a kennel in Idaho. I think Idaho hunting dogs it was called. From what I've heard they do a good job.

Julie bought that business from Scott Samson who upon selling to her, moved to Ellensburg and started Sage Brush Gun Dogs, and runs a much tighter ship than she does.

When I dealt with Julie 2(ish) years ago she was merely brokering dogs for Jared Moss at Best Gun Dogs in Utah. Why anyone would want that in a day and age when we can do all the leg work ourselves on the internet is beyond me.

Sage Brush Gun Dogs: http://www.sagebrushgundogs.com/

NAVHDA has a search function on their site you should check out, it'll help you sort out test scores for NAVHDA breeders, handlers and dogs, and vet out health data, and other stuff useful to you.

http://www.navhda.org/testing/search-test-records

The only current PNW NAVHDA dog that has a VC title on it is a GSP from Sharp Shooter kennels...

Disclaimer: I am not into shorthairs but based on what I've heard and seen...

You might look at Real Dog Kennel's, they were featured on American Gun Dog I believe and seem pretty focused on hunting.

You might also look at Dunfur Kennels over in Cheney.

Out of state kennels to look at...

Crosswind Kennels in Michigan, Scott Townsend has a very loyal following, his dogs are some of the winningest shorthairs in NSTRA history, I believe he is some national VP in the NSTRA and his regions include the PNW, and he's a wealth of knowledge. I've seen a couple of dogs that were not far from the tree of his line and they were hunting machines.

Monkeyshine Kennels in Michigan, again they have a loyal following and their dogs live and hunt a long time. For example I saw a gentleman post on another forum a while back some pictures of his dog from there with a grouse it had retrieved, the dog had spent half the day hunting and it was just shy of 15.

Wild Rose German Shorthairs down in Texas. No personal experience but I hear good things.

My training partner is breeding his female right now to a DK.  She has I belive the second highest PE score in VHDF, one of finest dogs I've been around, don't need to wow you with scores of your serious about training dogs you can come out and watch his and see how they work.  Let me know and I can give you more info?
