Kid friendly fishing
« on: February 03, 2015, 04:07:17 PM »
My boys are eager to get out to do some fishing (4,7). We are doing our annual Lake Roosevelt trip in three weeks but they can't hold out that long. Looking for some action for them from the bank. Trout, perch, anything really.  Don't want to have them in the car for too long of a drive. We are in Walla walla. Any reports from the Mardon resort? Or other suggestions?
Thanks

Check with the little guy who caught the monster and ask him.   :chuckle:

Agreed! He wants to go very bad. I have created a monster :) funny really. I think I am a much more patience man because of growing up fishing. We always have the best time no matter what, fish or no fish.  Hopefully he is learning patience also.

Only one of my boys was able to make it fishing. My youngest came down with a cold and wasn't able to go. He was very mad :(  We went out and were blown away like everybody else Saturday. Changed up the game plan and got a new spot for the kids. We are great food and enjoyed the time outdoors. And the kids caught a few trout to top off the day.
