Shrewd Precision 7 degree is one on my favs.Killer Innovations look pretty good too.A brake shouldn't be more than $110 installed with the brake. At least that's what I pay.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I have decided on a break from Defensive Edge. Does anyone have experience with their breaks?

Does anyone have experience with their breaks?Have one on a 30-338 Lapua Improved that shoots Berger's 230's and for a gun that still weighs under 12lbs the DE brake made it a pleasure to shoot. There are a lot of really good brakes out there. Defensive Edge, Jim See's Muscle brake, Kirby Allen's Painkiller brake are the 3 I've used and I couldn't honestly say one was any better than the other two. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes so you'll have to decide what "look" you like best. But, I will caution against a ported style brake that has round holes all the way around it as they tend to blow dirt all over hell when you are shooting prone. I've had two like this and hated both of them for this reason.
BIGGERHAMMER do you know of any good gunsmiths in the central wa. Area?
