What rifle do you like to use?  Any suggestions for a good rifle for 300 yards or better?

Can't beat a 270 or 30/06. I've got both and would use either one for black bears. Either one is good out to 400 yards.

300 win mag seems to be the preferred caliber for our group, but they range from 25 WSSM to 300 RUM.

300 WIN MAG with a 180 grain seems to put em down pretty hard.

"300 yards or better" does that mean closer or further? :chuckle: for me closer is definitly better.

Any normal deer rifle, place your bullet.

.300 Savage carbine.  Not so good for long shots though but a good brush gun.
