Stang and I had a late night.  Flat tire on the way out.  Then a busted Jack but we beat it back together with rock like cavemen.  Managed to Jack truck up then set it down on logs to get another bite with a halfway functioning Jack.  Made it but didn't get home until about 1130.

Hmmm date night ran a little late, the ole I got a flat tire excuse. Was daddy waiting on the front porch when you got him home? :chuckle:

It is as if someone tells the bears that I'm going out hunting.  Where are they? Nothing today but one fresh pile of poo and one on the cams. I covered a lot of ground and hunting methods today. Nothing.

seen fresh skat from the river bottoms up to 2000 feet in el. the two i have seen were up higher. still not seen really any bear tunnels like usual in grass etc....wich seems odd cuz all the skat is grass filled that i have seen so far. berries look like they will pop soon in some spots, hard green berries on some, flowers still on most others. still looking for the right skunk cabbage area, none yet had any evidence of a bear. been beating brush looking for a spot a boar calls home till its time to follow the food up.

Keep at it guy's. I know it get's frustrating at times, but this should be a banner year. The weather is the best I've ever seen this early in the year and I'm seeing more reports of sitings than ever.
