camera blues

It appears something is wrong with my lens.  Two trips now and the pics are fuzzy.  I did some tests today and they are failing. :crap:   
power is out in bird pens because of a short :crap:
car is stuck in the driveway and I have more shoveling to do  :crap:
New external drive to put some of pics on is not working :crap:
Can't get my snowmobile started. :crap:

I think Y2K started about 9 years late.

THis bites.  Since you guys are shooting all those big deer and sheep I decided to shoot some birds.  Had some great kingfisher shots. ALL SOFT.  It worked fine after that Rob for a long time.  Not sure whats up.  It jsut started happening.  KNOW any good Canon dealers on my side of the mountain?

It has to be boxed up and sent to Canon service in California.  You get a repair authorization first off the website and put a copy of that in with the lens.  Then cross your fingers it is less than 4 digits...

I am trying to decide if I want it for one more weekend of POSSIBLE phot ops or ship it and be out of luck for the last of the bucks holding on.  I guess there are always sheep and the elk will be able to be photo oped for a bit.
The good news is I found my warranty which I couldn't for the longest time.   I was producing diamonds out the ole sphincter for awhile.
