buck pics.1/1/09
« on: January 01, 2009, 06:10:35 PM »

What better way to start out the new year than to go take some pictures of some bucks.  A friend of mine was telling me about a new spot where he had seen some nice bucks in the past so we thought we would give that a try.  Just saw 2 little bucks in that area so we moved on.  These are some bucks we have taken pics. of in the past but always looking for new shots of them.  Anyway taking pics. of bucks is better than watching football in my opinion.

Another fence jumper.

Hope you enjoy the pics.  and hope you have a great new year.

That lip curl shot is off the hook! Mucho kudos.

WAY better than football!

:o Those pictures are totally awesome. I sure appreciate you posting them. They are great to look at. It is nice to know there are still deer like that to be seen. What a great way to spend a day.

Thanks for all the kind words.  There's not as many bucks showing up down there as there is in July and November.  In July, we usually meet up with a bunch of guys and we spend a week down there swatting mosquitos and taking velvet buck pics.  We then meet up the first of november for a week of picture taking during the rut.  If anybody is interested in joining us for some photography in July or November, just let me know and I'll keep you posted.  You're all welcome to join us.
