Call john. He's got it dialed and is a fun guy to fish with. It will be money well spent.

Seen a few being caught. I didn't catch any. Will try again tomorrow.

H2ohunter, pretty sure I saw you out there. Nice boat. I was having kicker motor issues so called it before even putting lines out. Be out again next weekend.

Well....we didn't quite slay 'em like I wanted. We landed enough for dinner and managed to lose about the same amount.

How many of you guys are running a treble on your lower hook? I run just to smaller hooks and was thinking I could increase my chances of landing them with a treble. We caught ours at the surface down to 15. We had our speed ranging from 1.3 up to 1.8 or so.

We managed to put 12 in the boat and lost quite a few (my 6 yr old was on the rod) . My 12 yr old and his buddy put 6 in his boat and lost a bunch.

Try slowing down more. We very rarely hit 1.4 mph...it's usually an accident if we do. All of our fish were caught @ 1.1 and 1.2mph yesterday and @ depths from 10' down to 30' with most coming from the 19 to 25' range. I marked schools down @ 60 to 70 and chased them with no biters.

We don't run trebles. I run my second hook further back than most people do. I think it does two things....it gets more of the short striking fish and if a fish does get the front hook the second hook usuall swings around until it finds a flesh which helps.land more fish.

Thank you. They are tasty. We landed one of my bigger kokes yesterday. I didn't put a tape to it but I'd say about 14 inches.

I'll be back out this weekend I hope. Going to take some of the advice, slow down a bit more, work the riggers and watch the sounder, and I think maybe shorten up my leaders just a tad more.
