This is in the elk section, and I highly doubt the elk sold for $29K.

$50k Eastside elk. $19k west side at the banquet, then re-sold to someone else  for $15.5k.

That would be a bargain compared to what it has sold for.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.

So if I'm reading this correctly the original buyer of the west side tag resold it at a $3500 loss? Was there a specific bull the original buyer intended to hunt that died or some other reason for the resale?

You're reading it correctly.
There was a reason for it. It was not a dead bull though. The original buyer can explain further if he wants.

That is not a 3500 loss that is a donation to the elk through SCI.  I had 3 choices :bash:

He just didn't want me to get it >:(  So he jacked it up over my budget and then sold it to someone else :chuckle: :chuckle:

Good cause and he made it interesting.  More fun that way
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
