I got drawn for 3rd season in unit 62.  Same area we hunted a few years ago.  I only shot a 2 point but we saw some monster bucks and I'm holding out for a 4 point at least this year!

none for me in CO either. I did draw NM in an area that only gives out 2 or 3 out of state tags. GO FIGURE! :chuckle:

Drew a deer tag so no WA deer hunt for me unless I draw a late tag. :IBCOOL:

I do not believe they have updated elk yet.  And maybe not even all the deer.  Because there are a few cases where guys have way more points than is most likely needed and they still have 400 #'s?

In years past the updates take a few days.  And it is done by animal and not all at once.

My sister is in this boat.  This is her last year of school and likely her last chance for a few years to really be able to take time off for hunting so we put her in for a lesser tag than her points might have otherwise got her.  She had like 4-5 more points than the tag has ever taken to draw, and it's showing 491 for her.  :dunno:  I don't think any there would be an influx of high point applicants because all the literature out there on the unit says it's going downhill. . . . Hopefully she drew.

:yeah:  once elk is showing you should be able to right click the draw results screen, select view source, and you can figure out if your points are zeroed or not.

I don't apply for elk tags.  But I did see over on Eastmans that elk tags started showing for a few guys.

I just put in for point #16 for elk so I don't have to obsessively check the backdoor all day.  :chuckle:
