Bushnell Trophy Cam deal
« on: May 28, 2015, 07:31:33 AM »
I run quite a few of these and love them. Been the best camera I've owned. I'll be picking up a couple more. Can't beat $89 and free sd card with each cam.

That's sure tempting but after spending money on special permit applications, a Weyerhaeuser access permit, and Wyoming antelope tags, there's no money left in the budget for more trail cams.    :bash:

They have the price being $99.99. Still a good deal but it makes the Amazon deal even better.

Leave me one. I'm headed up this afternoon.

Scratch that. Luvmystang posted a better deal on Amazon.

1st impressions of the Bushnell Trophy Cam:

Set on the auto sensitivity it gets a lot of false triggers.  I have many photos of chipmunks and nothing at all.  Trigger speed seems good as this 3 pic burst of the doe walking by shows.  The pics are a blurry though, a bit disappointing.  I’m trying the video setting now, curious to see how the audio is on it.

I’m sorry to say that video mode of camera is about useless.  It triggers with the slightest breeze moving the leaves.  I have a card full of movies of leaves rustling.

The video quality is pretty poor too.  I’m not impressed.

I've never done video with mine but for photo they have been great. I've had them up in winter for 3 months with lithium energizers and they still were takin pics.

Hmm. I've used my for video and been very pleased. I do lower the sensitivity for that feature but like the quality of footage.
