Thanks again guys, I measured the bull at 301, it looks bigger to me in the pics.

Exactly!  A true 300 is a great bull

Exactly!  A true 300 is a great bull
300 is a great bull, there are 295" bulls that are great.  300" is the mark for me this year and even if it is 285" it will be the biggest bull on my wall.  I think I am more looking forward to the experience versus inches of antler.  Score is just one aspect of the hunt and not what it is all about.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Exactly!  A true 300 is a great bull
300 is a great bull for sure. Photography and proportion often make bulls look bigger than they do in person.
