That is a nice fat bull with great antlers.  Getting within bow range of that guy and having a shot present itself is the tricky part.

I dream of drawing the archery tag and think I have a pretty good idea of where and how I would hunt.  I would love to shoot one over 350 but if a 310-330 came in and gave me the shot I think I would have to take it.

Enjoy the hunt and hope you keep posting about the scouting and the hunt.

Here is one from last year. Picture was taken in middle May. Lots of good growth for that early, Never got him on cam again, but saw him once in August... :yike: one of the bigger bulls I have seen up there.

Passing a 350 class bul, in any unit with archery gear is crazy in less you have a wall full of them . It can be tough to tell 350 from 370 on the hoof . If you work hard and scout you may find a giant but that unit is gonna be a mad house you better be on him opening morning and cut off his escape route. I know where he wants to go . Good luck

I wouldn't even kill a 350 do the tag justice and kill one over the 370'' mark that's moooore than doable if you halfway know what your doing...

370" or he doesn't know halfway what he's doing?  Get real man.

Getting a great bull on camera and getting one on the ground in season are two different things.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Its easy to TALK BIG!  Heck I have been begging for a peaches tag. Now that I have one, the mindset kinda changes.

Make the most out of your hunt! ANY BULL is a bonus.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

I'm not calling anyone a liar, but I know for myself if I had a good shot on a 300" bull I'd be hard pressed t wait.

But, to each his own.
