BTW, a big thanks to Corey for all of the help, and sometimes humorous company, as well as GradeCreekRd (Jason), and his dad Al for all of the info, and other kindnesses shown. I'd also like to thank Bob33 for the loan of the spotting scope and other members for various offers, even if they were not taken up.

More photos of the pack up and out to follow.  Again, the caption will describe the scene.

I don't do a lot of selfies, but was pretty happy to be to the beach with my 75 pound pack.  Corey had about fifty pounds plus my bow on his back.

Again, thanks everyone for reading and the positive comments.  I hope you have enjoyed the pictures.  I will be looking through my videos over the next week or so and will post links if I have any good ones.

What awesome write up and thanks you for all the pictures too! A lot of us will have to live vicariously through you guys that are lucky enough to draw the oil tags! I enjoy reading everyone's posts! It is hard to believe this year is just about over and I'm getting excited already for the permit draws for next year and see who the lucky ones are! Congratulations again to a amazing ram!

Great job Loki, I'm very happy for you. My legs hurt just reading your story!  :chuckle: How is sheep to eat? I've heard many conflicting opinions about it.

I've had (one bite bleah) some of his raccoon sloppy joes.  :puke: I have a feeling Ed can do a lot better with some ram steaks.

Yeah, I guess Loki isn't the best person to ask if something taste good, I hear he will eat anything and think it's good.  :chuckle:

Yeah, but I am a bit pickier when it comes to game meat, and I'm happy to report...it was good!  I was already assuming I wouldn't like it and that it would taste muttony.  Instead, it was a lot like mild venison!   :)

Me too, guess ram is on the menu for late buck at Ed & Kelly's house.
