Was out yesterday (9/13) in MA9, boated one that would of been in the top 5 of the derby, lost another, had a hit or two and released a few small shakers all in the early AM, then it went quite, so we went to see if any pinks still hangin around and had no luck, so back went the coho gear and no luck in the late morning, could of been the tides?

Headed in around noon.

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Try going deeper, I saw and hooked one about 110' at 11 am last weekend.

The weather is looking better, forecast was looking a bit ugly.  Hopefully the wind will stay down.

Seiku last weekend was phenomenal as far as fish density but in 4 days we never caught one over 6lbs and we caught a LOT of fish.

Upper snohomish is pretty dead for coho.  A few jumpers but not many and the ones there have lock jaw from what I've seen the last couple days

I need to get out more and fill the freezer.  I've been wasting too much time on elk.
