My 2015 Buck.
« on: September 08, 2015, 04:03:09 PM »
Took about 3hrs to stalk in and wait him and 3 others out till they stood up and fed into 50 yards. Perfect double lung, he sprinted about 100 yards and piled up.

Nice buck.

307fps, pretty fast.  Do you shoot that same setup for elk?
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Sorry just noticed you asked about this setup for elk.
Yes, I actually put this whole setup together for my East Wenaha Bull tag. Since that didnt happen I just used it for deer too. But whatever I set my bow up to shoot is what I shoot for everything including 3D. What better practice then shooting your hunting setup for everything.

Private land??? How do you know its not feel free to hunt?

It is maxed out *! I ordered it with 55-65lb limbs. Ya know most bows now days unlike your 06 fastest bow in the world you can order them with a max draw weight of 65lbs But then again if I shot a 325 grain arrow (thats an ibo weight arrow since i doubt you know that) i can shoot 350fps or so at my draw length.
