Model T.
« on: September 28, 2015, 11:09:57 AM »
Any one on here that lives close to Tacoma. That knows how to tune up a model t. I have a 1926 truck. It runs ok just like to have things fine tuned.

I would start with replacing all the ignition parts. A new distributor cap, new points and condenser, new pugs, and new spark plug wires. If that does not smooth thins out. Think about rebuilding the carb. It only takes 3 things for an engine to run. Gas, air and spark. After that it becomes a timing issue with the  motor itself. Model T motor's are very basic and the easiest to work on. No censors or computers to work on.

Points and condesors are pretty finiky and I would bet that is the source of the problem. Did you figure it out?
