Take water chestnuts cut in half wrap with bacon Speer with toothpicks roll in light brown sugar and smoke/cook till bacon is done people will go nuts for them !
Popper's are really a blank canvass. You make it with your favorite flavors1 8oz cream chesse1 tube pork chorizo or beef you decide.melt together on a sautee temp.you can also use diced onions what ever you choose.I usually slice jalapeno long ways. Stripping the seeds. having hollow boat. Fill with your ingredients. Top with your favorite shredded cheese. I usually use pepper jack Set smoker 250 degrees. Throw in the poppers for hour maybe hr an half. Depends on your al dent tay.......lolOr use same concept but use Italian sausage mushrooms cream cheese garlic maybe bacon for the top with shredded cheese. Hope it gives ideas, any ?s just post......
