The attached letter pretty well sums up the issues with WDFW enforcement.

Pretty sad.

I am troubled by the fact that Olson continues to essentially be the poster boy (always on Rugged Justice, on the Enforcement website, on the recruitment page in the regs, etc.) for the enforcement program yet he is continuously in internal affairs related matters. I guess when your best buds with Cenci and the retired Chief is a family friend you can get away with anything...

It is really sad, but in the interest of being totally fair; just because you come under investigation, doesn't mean you actually did anything wrong.  I know of several people who have recently been investigated, and I am convinced they did nothing improper.

Completely agree. False accusations occur all the time. I've definitely noticed a trend (lieing) in the documents you've been posting about the Olson investigations. Erik's always made great cases and I'm sure everyone would agree on that but does that mean that admin should just turn their head on some of the negative things....

According to WDFW; in the 9 years that Cenci has been deputy chief, 13 WDFW officers resigned.  In the 9 years immediately preceding Cenci's promotion to deputy chief, only one officer resigned. How can Unsworth allow this to continue?

It appears it's not important to him....

I'm quite sorry to say your hard work to bring this to light has fallen short of influencing the powers that be. I have written my State Rep several times on this issue, but it appears that as long as Jay Inslee is leading the state nothing will be done. At least you currently live on the opposite side of the state with its concentration of stupidity.

Apparently you are correct.  Even his choice of "Acting Chief" (Anderson) assures Cenci still has a buddy at the helm.

Don't give them the satisfaction of just going quiet.

Actually, as I was just reminded, it has been 15 officers who have resigned since Cenci has become deputy chief, as WDFW forgot to put Czebotar and Gaston on the list of those who have resigned.

He's working for a small PD in King County now.

9 of those on the list were FWO 1s when they resigned. Any idea if they resigned in-lieu of termination for failing FTO?
