Well i got my first elk. I was pushing a coulee and i could hear elk breaking brush so i got on the ridge top and got to the top, then i seen a cow so i got a good rest, then anouther cow and then a spike and he was movin so i "meh" "meh" he stopped and boom and dropped him with my 30-06, hundred yards from the road.
