Jim was hunting with Shane Barbour and got a nice bull. He was very complimentary about the service he got. Although I'm not a big fan of the "see how far you can kill with a bow" crowd, the man is definitely a great shot. He also did a piece where he shot a light bulb at 100 yards to see if he could beat a dragster. Did anyone else see this show? What did you think? I don't want this to turn into a slam session about a guide. Just comment on him with relationship to Jim Burnworth and that show please.

These are far from realistic hunts that the show portrays. Are you sure that is not a repeat of the show from a year or two ago?I have Extreme on DVR but have not watched any yet this year, I always like Jim's enthusiasm for bow hunting. I just lost interest once I found out some of these details. Took the magic and interest out of it. Some other hunting shows are open and honest about going to a "ranch" or outfitters property, they show the feeders, set-up blinds etc. No problem there, you know what the deal is. Film it like you are out on the wild tracking and hunting them when you are actually on closed land and over bait. That and some of the episodes got really thick on the bowtech sales push, I own a bowtech and love it, but don't need product pushed at me during the show itself. We get enough of that in the comercials that air every5min of actual show time... commercial, 2 min of backtrack covering what was already shown, 3 min of new material, commercial, rinse repeat..
Must've been last season. Jim got one of the smaller bulls, he took the Top Fuel drag racer Steve Torrence who got a monster 381" bull, Jims wife got a beauty during muzzle loader season and I believe his brother got one tooJim went back this year and got one pretty close to the bull Steve Torrence got last season.
the term western extreme over bait bugs me . If you wanna hunt over bait fine just dont boast how killer you are.
