A lot of time they will go to a strut area after breaking off from hens or while looking for hens. I have killed a lot toms all by them selves just working in a strutting area.

Birds are pretty vocal on my property. Seem to be pretty much everywhere......these were right across from my entry driveway on Tuesday morning.
