Oregon State Elk Calling Championships
« on: February 22, 2016, 10:06:31 AM »
I was blessed/fortunate enough to walk away from the Oregon State elk calling championships with a win in the professional division. There were a lot of great callers this year. I also want to congratulate Phelps Game Calls users Ryder Bruce for a first place in the youth and Charlie Smith for a second in the open.

It was a great event and I look forward to trying to get a Washington State Championship up and running over the next year.

Listened to you and Charlie on GB. Really enjoyed it.

Congrats Phelps!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
