We really ought to start talking seriously about that idea of having Eastern WA and Eastern OR join the State of Idaho.

Now that is a great idea!!!!!! :IBCOOL:

How can that not be unconstitutional?

It's not.....if it gets nay traction, then NRA and others should immediately attack it legally.  To be honest these moronic initiatives should be thrown out by the courts before they go anywhere.  The 2nd Amendment rights are rights, not open to change based on how somebody feels.  Just sick of this crap.

That is where I an coming from and the NRA-ILA, much like the eGOP, doesn't have it in them under current leadership to get out there and attack "firstest with the mostest."  IMHO, they have become too bureaucratic.

And the west side could join CA. Everyone could be happy.
But for some reasons totalitarianism likes the taste of its enemies suffering.

There are probably more on the Westside on the same page as the Eastside , just for the simple reason there are just plain 10 times as many!! Quit being part of the problem with blame, just sayin!!!!

There are more people on the westside that are against the prog causes than there are on the eastside.  By percentages, the eastside usually wins out in that category (like for 594 which was mostly westside).  But if you take a look at say 655 (hounds and bear baiting), http://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/results_report.aspx?e=17&c=&c2=&t=&t2=5&p=&p2=&y= click on county breakdown, every county in the state voted for it.  The highest percentage of no votes was actually a westside county--Grays Harbor; the narrowest margin in absolute votes was Pend Oreille.  King county had more no votes than the entire eastside did--220K vs 180K, King and Spokane counties were similar in the vote.
Ok I follow now. Also it looks like 9 counties voted no on the bear baiting
