Check out the cooper st maxx as well... They are an aggressive all terrain similar to the duratracs and also a great looking tire. Also made in America

Both are really good tires for what they are and very comparable performance.  I would go with the ones that I could get the best deal on.

:yeah:

I had BFG AT on my Toyota and have the Duratrac on my F350. Either are fine on road and off. I thought the BFGs were a little quieter on the freeway.

Stick with TOYO and go with the TOYO R/T. I just switched from TOYO M/T last week on my Tacoma in a 33" tire. Tire rides so smooth compared to the M/T and is still pretty aggresive.

I put a set of 265/75/16 bfg ko2s on my first gen Tacoma last fall.
Snow and ice covered roads, great.
Deep mountain snow with single digits air pressure, even better.
Great on old logging roads.
Great in the sand, even better when pulling my boat off the beach.
They drive nice down the road. They hook up good on wet covered roads.

They look good with the new side walls.

I have a 13 4Runner and put the BFG KO2s (load range C) on it. Like them so far. In the rain they work great. I haven't got to take them up in the snow yet. Been in some mud that would have made the OME tires slip around and they didn't even spin a tire a bit. I did take a hit on MPG, but I think it was worth it. Went to Costco in Portland and got them for $214 a piece (no tax) plus the $70 off promotion that they had as that manufacturer owns BFG. Don't remember who, but Costco would tell you. So many good reviews on the BFGs and I was impressed with a set of there tires that I put on a Sienna so I decided to try the KO2s.

Got 92,000 miles on my last all terrains on my Dakota, so I went with them on my Toyo. Never a problem, and good gas mileage too

Thanks. When Costco has michelin tires for $70 off you get that on the BFGoodrich also.

My 2013 Taco came with BFG Rugged Tail T/A tires on it and I've owned it since new.  For a summer tire they're OK but they are the most useless tire for slick winter conditions I've ever had, probably doesn't help that these things are very light in the azzend, too.

I just clicked over 36K and I'd say those BFG's that came on it are a ways under half tread and 10-12K of that 36K total was with my winter tires, Michelin X-Ice which are outstanding winter tires, so probably only have around 24-26K on the orig. BFG Rugged Trail T/A.

I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep my 13 Taco so the orig tires may last me as long as I own it but if I ever need to put new tires on it, the only way I'd put the Rugged Trail T/A back on is if someone gave me a new set.  Not exactly sure what I'd replace them with but I know it won't be those.

I had BFG Mud Terrain KM2's on my Rubicon and they were great on everything except ice, not worth a sheet on Ice but that's not really their niche, either.  I think if those KM2's were siped from new they'd have been a lot better on ice.
