Lot of money. It's a buyers market for that old stuff, which is certainly in need of repair and maintenance.

Those are rail chocks. You use them as a fulcrum when your cranking up a halibut from 500+ feet.

Looks like a lead weight, which would take these old rods to the bottom of the ocean, where they belong.

Those are rail chocks. You use them as a fulcrum when your cranking up a halibut from 500+ feet.

The lip hanging down catches on the gunnel and keeps you from being pulled in, especially if you have the rod connected to your fighting belt.
