Looking for a good bino case
« on: April 21, 2016, 11:39:05 AM »
In the winter I usually tuck them in my coat but as I use binos more and more. I think I'd like to get one of those cases you strap around onto your chest. Any suggestions?

I really like the original Badlands w/magnet closure.  You have to take a few minutes to learn to close it quietly, but it is rainproof & dist proof as any case I have ever seen.

Kuiu or badlands, the badlands is a little heavier than the kuiu but it keeps all the crud out.  I like my kuiu harness but it does let water and debris in, very light and easy to use with one hand.
“In common with”..... not so much!!

I need to do this also. I've been using the stock strap, and it really gets old.

I have used Kuiu and AGC and for the price Kuiu is a nice system (but for an extra $5-$15 you can get a US made harness).

The negative of the Kuiu is that you get pine needles in the case as they fall between the case and your body. Every couple days I would have to take out the binos and dump the case contents.

AGC seem bomb proof. I haven't had them out in the woods as much as my Kuiu's but I like having the binos free from the case so don't have to remove the case when glassing from different positions or from a tripod.

Great options between Kuiu, AGC and FHF

I second that. I love mine
