so my son and i have always put in together. We only hunt archery. This year only i bought a multiseason tag but he didnt. We put in as a group for archery just fine. How do i go about putting in for rifle and muzzleloader as a individual?
?Says i dont have any. Do i go try and purchase another deer permit card for rifle and muzzy
or am i screwed???

You can only purchase and submit one application. So if you wanted to apply for hunts that your son was not eligible for, you should have applied individually.

If you used your choices in the archery category you are done. Multi lets you float between weapons, but doesnt multiply your options.

You could apply for a modern permit in another category like Antlerless or Buck if you applied as a group in Quality.

Oh i see what your saying. Well that was a little misleading on the WDFW part. Im not willing to give up my late archery permit oppurtunities for rifle. oh well will take a look at buck thou since i dont use any for archery. Thanks

I don't see how it's misleading. If you put in as an individual you could do one choice archery and one choice rifle.

You cannot do it is a group since he doesn't have multi season. For example, Quality deer - if you go in as a group, you can only choose archery since that is what his tag is for.

The kid could go in with his dad on other sub species in archery only cuz the son has archery tag. And only as long as the dad does not have any other weapons in that submission ie a doe tag in archery but then the dad can go for a muzzy buck by himself right?
