I was up there a few weeks ago for work, came across a bachelor group of bulls running from rags to a masher that was a 6x6 already. Whole area smelled like elk. If you're interested I can give you guys the ridge they were on. Can't remember the exact knob but it would be within 40, 50 acres

That should be a great hunt! Good thing they switched it from just a plain old bull tag to a quality bull tag it will be easier to find them

I have never hunted in the unit so we are headed over for fathers day to get a lay of the land.  I have hunted 328 before.  I plan on heading over every other week.  Any areas to start looking would be great, thanks to MADMAX I will be heading to twentynine pines area.  Are trail cams worth the expense? I do not own any however, I think I can convince the wife they are needed if I have a good reason.

Thanks I am very excited and blessed to have this opportunity.

My dad had a monster 8x8 screaming at another bull in front of him only 60 yards away last year in 335. Bulls bugling everywhere. It will be awesome. Later in the season was actually better even the last 4 days so if they are quiet the first week don't get discouraged
