« on: June 28, 2016, 02:51:23 PM »
Just recently acquired a 2012 6hp mercury longshaft 4cycle, fairly low hours im told , original prop and whatnot great shape . I have zero use for this motor . Does anyone happen to know what a good value to put on this would be ?  Any help would be greatly appreciated , thanks .

$400 to a friend $600 to a stranger

I am a marine adjuster.  I just checked ABOS - a boat dealer book.  MSRP new was $2000 For summer 2016 freshwater use $1050, saltwater used $900.  That is the base 4 stoke with pull start longshaft.
