Long range practice?

Where do you guys go to practice at longer ranges? 200,300,400 + yards. I'm in the olympia area but have only shot in the hills.

Pe ell sportsmanship club has covered shooting to 500 meters. Membership is about $35 per year

My backyard, gongs hung to 500, paper to 500, pretty handy...

My back yard too. Out to 735 yards so far

With a little looking you can get past 1 mile in Capitol Forest.

I believe you can shoot the KD range on Lewis, not sure though
my grandpa always said "if it aint broke dont fix it"

The range on Lewis no longer allows magnum rifles.

I had a good spot to 1200 yards in cap forest, but the last two times I've tried to get back there, the damn gate has been locked 1/2 mile before I get there...

+1 for Capitol State Forest.  I refuse to pay to shoot at a range somewhere.  I can shoot 600-1400 yards there in the same spot, and have yet to see another person where I go.  There are some cool spots to find if you look.
