Not sure what boat you have or how far you can travel, Brown's Bay a couple miles south of the Mukilteo boat launch is loaded with them.
. I think I could make that from muck.  Thanks, any specs on depth?

We used to get loads of them south of Edmonds marina

Loads of them down here in Olympia.  You can catch as many as you want. Literally. Send me a pm if anyone wants info. In general, crab in 50' give or take 20 and you will have more than you want.  Nisqually, Boston harbor and anywhere else I've dropped a pot

To me the meat is just a touch sweeter. There just isn't enough!

This is my thought as well.  got one really nice one today with my Dungies, gave all four to some friends.  Make sure you are near actual rocky areas and you will get more of them, usually.   ;)

South end of Brown's bay, standard crabbing depths 50- 75 feet.
