Quail Near Ellensburg
« on: October 04, 2016, 02:53:29 AM »
Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and this will be my second year upland hunting. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good quail spots in the Ellensburg area. My buddy and I are looking for places to do day trips. Huns and Chukar are good too.

Thank you

Don't forget the Yakima Training Center, When I still hunted in WA. it was a go to spot.  See you in a few more days Ribka...

I think there is a hunt club that has land around the power station just off of Robbins and Smithson road.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Do you have a boat sea worthy, enough for the.Columbia river, if so launch at vantage head up river, plenty of state ground along the river

Head east to the wasteways. Lots of land, and you can find quail in b the olives.

My father in-law hunted whiskey dick for decades but hasn't in years. Anyone been out there recently?

There are lots of wdfw access sites on private farms around there. You can find them on the gohunt app on wdfw website
