Hi Guys & Gals,   
So did you get your latest issue of "THE FUR SHED?"

The latest issue has a contest on page two for you to win two "Custom Game Calls."  One being a double reed duck call and the other being a cottontail predator call, just in time for the upcoming hunting season.  If you’re a member you should check out the animal tracks contest and try your skill.  How knows you might win those two game calls.

For Non-members, if you want to try your luck at winning these two custom game calls, you have to be a member.  Go to our WSTA Trapper's site and download the application and come join our great group.  If you join, I'll send you the latest issue with the contest.

We're having another contest for the next issue (Winter Issue, Jan 1st) of "THE FUR SHED"

This one is for "your" photo's to be drawn by a WSTA Committee to put your photo into the 2017 Trappers Calendar.  Yep, we're going to put out a "Trappers Calendar."  At a matter of fact, we're thinking about putting out two.  One for members only and another one for non-members.  So grab your camera's and cell phones (remember your phone can take pictures too) and start taking those picture of you, your catch, your kids on the trapline, etc..  Pictures don't have to be of the best looking critter that you caught, it could be of you working on repairing your traps or cleaning them getting ready for the trapping season.

Is there going to be some type of prizes ................. yep, just don't know what they will be yet.

Trapping Season starts here in Washington State on November 1st, 2016 and runs until March 31st, 2017.  We hope to have one of the calendars out by the winter rendezvous / fur sale which is in March.  Calendars will be made from March 2017 to the end of February 2018.  Nothing says that the Calendar has to be from January to December

More on this contest will be in the next newsletter, but for now get out there and start taking those pictures.
Deadline for the first go around is: January 31, 2017  .

For everybody, it great to see your photos here but I need you to send them to:
JC.WSTA@YAHOO.COM along with your "name and mailing address" so if your pictures are drawn to be on the calendar we need to know who the person was that took the picture.

I got an email today saying that he is having a hard time emailing me his pictures.  For everybody sometimes this happens when the picture is to large.  Try down sizing your photo first.  If you still can't get them to me keep posting um here but send me your information by PM.  I can always copy your photo from here.

I haven't been receiving to many picture  for the Calendar Contest.
I've been seeing some nice pictures out here.

Just another reminder to all that we have a contest going on and you should be sending your pictures my way also besides posting them here.

Your more than welcome to use any picture I post on my thread but they aren't exactly superior pics IMO. I'll try and get done good scenic pics next time I head out.
