:yeah:  What an old war horse!
Had a cut on the nose, hooves were missing chunks and both his front knee's look like he slid down a rocky road but other than that he was in really good shape had all his teeth.  Huge body.

12 yr old son's second deer.  The mulies (weather) didn't cooperate so he took this blacktail in the late season.  He's upset that he didn't get an elk this year to complete his trifecta.  What impressed me this year is his stamina, he was wanting to hike in miles for a muley with no complaints, and is already planning some hike in hunts for bear next August.  He also is wanting me to build or buy a teepee tent for some backpack trips in during the snows where we cannot get the vehicles into.   Crazy youthful spirit!

Last day to hunt Idaho for me. Not huge, but I am super happy with him, and some meat in the freezer.

There is something just indescribably painful about being stuck behind a prius on the interstate.
